Mark’s passion for construction began at an early age doing kitchen and bathroom renovations with his father. Being on construction sites expanded his network and led to experience with other trades and eventually summer work and contract positions in carpentry and landscaping. Mark wanted a greater understanding of development on a larger scale which led to a degree in Urban & Regional Planning at Ryerson University.

After graduating, Mark spent a year in Trinidad & Tobago working with the Ministry of Housing & Settlements. Upon returning to Canada, he worked for several architects and for the School of Urban & Regional Planning at Ryerson where he further developed his knowledge of design and policy while continually expanding his network. For the past 20 years Mark has continued to refine his skills in the residential construction industry.
